It has some very good information on what to look for when finding a property manager in Oklahoma, like how to do a free criminal background check on a potential property manager.

They make some good points (if you don’t mind watching them just read a script)…although I have to disagree about the one on having a 24-hour service to take calls for emergencies. What type of emergency is important enough to get me up in the middle of the night?
How about a clogged drain…that’s important, right? Call us in morning about that. I won’t be able to get a plumber there in the middle of the night anyway.
Well, what if the building is on fire? If the building is on fire, why are you calling me? Why aren’t you calling the fire department. Fire departments put out fires. That’s what they are there for. Call us in the morning about the aftermath of the fire and we’ll go from there.
What if a crime is committed on the property. Then what? Call 911 – ask for the police.
In short, the property management business is something that can be done and is done during daylight hours. I haven’t yet come across any emergency that requires me as a property manager to call someone or get the phone at 3:00 am.
